VioPO will turn purchase orders into data. When it opens, you will send it a PDF or a picture of an order, and it will send back the same JSON whoever made the document.
Why it exists
Most businesses that sell to other businesses still receive orders as PDFs attached to emails. Each customer has its own layout. Someone opens each one and types the order number, the delivery address and every line into the order system. It is slow, it is dull, and a typing mistake becomes a wrong delivery or an invoice that gets rejected.
The usual fixes do not last. A template that knows where each field sits on one customer's form breaks when that customer changes it, and it does nothing for the next customer. Plain OCR turns the page into text but does not know which number is the quantity and which is the price.
A vision language model reads the page more like a person does. It sees the table, the boxes and the labels, and it can tell a delivery address from an invoice address on a form it has never seen. VioPO puts that reading behind one API call, then does the dull part properly: dates into one format, currencies and countries into codes, and every figure checked against the others.
How it is built
The model runs on hardware we operate. Orders are never sent to an outside AI service, and they are not kept after they are read. We chose this because purchase orders carry prices, customer names and addresses, and we would not want ours passed to someone else's model either.
Running our own model also means we choose the version and when it changes. The output format does not drift because a provider updated something.
The model can misread a page, as a person can. That is why every response carries arithmetic checks and warnings, and why we suggest posting an order automatically only when they are clean.
